Max Eberle (born November 27, 1972 ) is an American pool player .

Career

In January 1999 Max Eberle reached eleventh place in the 9-ball at the Derby City Classic . A month later, he finished ninth in the ESPN Ultimate Challenge. In 2000 he won two tournaments on the Planet Pool Tour and came in 49th place at the US Open . After winning another tournament on the Planet Pool Tour in 2001 and finishing third in the 8-Ball Professional Players Championship in 2002 , Eberle reached the 9-ball final at the 2003 Derby City Classic, but lost it to Shannon Daulton . In 2003 he also reached the sixteenth finals of the 9-ball world championship , which he lost to Taiwanese Hsia Hui-kai , as well as 13th place at the US Open and fourth place at the World Summit of Pool. At the US Open 2005 he came in 17th place.

In June 2006, Eberle reached the semi-finals of the 14/1 endless World Cup, his best ever result at a World Cup, but in 2007 he was eliminated in the second round. In 2008 Eberle was eliminated in the preliminary round of the 10-Ball World Cup and came 17th at the Japan Open . In May 2010 Eberle took part in the World Pool Masters for the first time and came in 49th place. At the 14/1 endless World Championships in 2011 and 2012 , Eberle made it to the round of 16, at the 8-Ball World Cup in 2012 he was defeated by Venezuelan Jalal Yousef in the round of 32 . In January 2013 Eberle won the 14/1 endless competition of the Derby City Classic. At the 14/1 endless World Cup of the same year, he lost in the round of 16 to future world champion Thorsten Hohmann 167: 200. At the 14/1 endless World Cup in 2014 , after victories against the Germans Ralph Eckert and André Lackner , he made it to the semi-finals, in which he was eliminated against Shane van Boening .
