André Lackner (born February 20, 1991 ) is a German pool and snooker player . He became German champion in the 14/1 endless discipline in 2016 and 2017 .

In October 2010 André Lackner reached the quarter-finals in the 14/1 endless at the German championship and was eliminated there against the future German champion Manuel Ederer . At the German championship in 2011 he won the bronze medal in the 10-ball after losing to Marcus Westen in the semifinals . In 2012 he reached the quarter-finals in the 14/1 endless and 8-ball disciplines. In August 2014, he moved into the quarter-finals of the World 14.1 Tournament with a round of 16 victory against former blackball world champion Jayson Shaw , in which he was defeated by American Max Eberle 172: 200. In October 2014 Lackner won bronze endlessly in the 14/1 at the German championship after he was eliminated in the semifinals against the future German champion Sascha-Andrej Tege . In May 2015 he won the Berlin Masters with a 7: 5 final victory over Christian Brehme . In November 2016, he made it into the finals for the first time in the 14/1 endless competition of the German championship and became German champion with a 125:64 win against Andreas Roschkowsky . He also made it into the final in the following two competitions, but lost to Raphael Wahl (8-Ball) and Joshua Filler ( 9-Ball ). In the final 10-ball competition, he was eliminated in the semifinals against Kevin Becker .

At the beginning of 2017 Lackner was nominated for the first time for the European Championship , where he took part in the 8-ball and 9-ball competitions. After defeating former European champion Ivica Putnik in 8-ball and being eliminated in the round of 32 against Tomasz Kapłan , he reached the quarter-finals in 9-ball by beating Petri Makkonen , in which he won the Poland lost to Konrad Juszczyszyn with 8:11. At the German championship 2017 he succeeded in defending his title endlessly in the 14/1 with a 125:66 final win against David Krewitt . A few days later he won the bronze medal in 9-ball.

In the 2005/06 season Lackner played with the second team of the 1st PBC Wedding in the sixth class Berlin state league. From 2006 he played in the first team, with which he was promoted to the league in 2007 and in the regional league in 2010, where he achieved first place in the individual ranking in 2008 and 2010. In the 2010/11 season, the PBC Wedding made it to the 2nd Bundesliga as runner-up in the Regionalliga . Lackner again took first place in the individual ranking. In the 2011/12 season, he was relegated to the regional league. After Lackner's team had been relegated to the league in the meantime, they made it to the second division again in the 2015/16 season with second place in the regional league. Lackner again won the individual ranking.

In the 2016/17 season, despite a good start to the season, PBC Wedding did not succeed in preventing relegation to the regional league. Lackner was unable to take part in some games and achieved a worse record than in previous years.

Lackner was part of the German national team for the first time at the 2017 European Championship and was eliminated with the team in the preliminary round.

In April 2011, Lackner was a final victory against Lukas Kleckers German U21 champion in snooker . At the U21 World Cup in 2011 , he was eliminated in the preliminary round.

From the 2008/09 season Lackner played with the snooker team of the 1st PBC Wedding in the major league. In the 2010/11 season he reached first place with the team and also took first place in the individual standings. He then moved to Snookerfabrik Berlin , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2012 and the 1st Bundesliga in 2015 . After the club had been relegated to relegation in June 2017 , they withdrew their team at the beginning of the 2017/18 season.
