Max Ellmann

Max Ellmann (born January 18, 1868 in Brăila ; † August 24, 1920 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician ( SDAP ) and doctor. From 1919 to 1920 he was a member of the state parliament of Lower Austria .

After attending elementary school and high school, Ellmann studied medicine at the University of Vienna and received his doctorate in medicine in 1892. He became a doctor at the Vienna General Hospital and from 1899 was employed by the Association of Health Insurance Companies in Vienna and Lower Austria. In addition, he studied social and industrial hygiene institutions abroad while he was traveling. Ellmann was involved in local politics as a district councilor in Vienna- Hernals and was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from May 20, 1919 to August 24, 1920.
