Max Fischer (politician, 1886)
Max Fischer (born March 30, 1886 in Bamberg , † September 25, 1962 in Erlangen ) was a German politician ( SPD ).
Fischer, the son of an office servant, attended elementary school and the teachers' college in Bamberg and then passed an employment test before he went to military service. From 1911 to 1920 he was a primary school teacher in Kirchahorn and from 1912 a regular primary school teacher. During the First World War he was active as a soldier.
On January 12, 1919, Fischer became a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . He resigned his mandate on March 14, 1919. From 1920 to 1952 he was again a primary school teacher in Stockheim in the district of Kronach , where he was also headmaster. After his retirement in 1952 he lived in Bamberg.
