Max Gebhardt
Max Gebhardt (born February 27, 1904 in Niederzwönitz ; † August 17, 1993 in Dresden ) was a German long-distance runner .
At the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin , he was seventh over 10,000 m .
In 1933 he was German champion over 5000 m and in 1949 GDR champion over the same distance. In 1950 he was GDR champion over 10,000 m .
Max Gebhardt first started for the Chemnitz Police Sports Club , then for the SV Allianz Dresden and in the early days of the GDR for the BSG KWU Dresden.
