Max Hauschild (born November 22, 1914 in Liebenstein near Arnstadt / Thuringia; † March 17, 1997 in Überlingen ) was a German town planner and 1953–1978 building department in Biberach an der Riss .

Life

Max Hauschild, son of Tilla Hauschild in the Franconian town of Coburg , started his career as an officer. After the war, he came to Biberach's hometown by marrying Luise Baur, where he initially practiced with Hugo Häring , who was staying with Baur . Regine was born in October 1945, became a librarian in Heidelberg and married the doctor Gerhard Wolf. In 1946 Max Hauschild began studying architecture in Stuttgart and in 1951 won a first prize in the competition for the ECA housing estate in Stuttgart-Feuerbach (with Gero Karrer and Breitschädel), which was the ticket for the position of urban planner in Biberach that became vacant the following year. In almost 27 years in office he cared for more than 4,000 apartments, took care of the on-site use of fitted kitchens in social housing and, in the early 1960s, for the school and sports mile. He designed the Urania film theater for Anton Kutter , the city cemetery with Günther Grzimek and the city hall. The ice rink on the uppermost lake was also his idea. He volunteered in the Society for Homeland Care and in the Rifle Directorate. In 1991 Max Hauschild, like his mother, moved to the Augustinum Überlingen, where he died at the age of 82.
