Max Hermann Bork
Max Hermann Bork (born January 1, 1899 in Forsthaus Lasdehnen , Pillkallen district , East Prussia ; † July 4, 1973 in Twielenfleth near Stade ) was a German officer , most recently lieutenant general in World War II .
Life
Bork served as an officer in the First World War . After the war he switched to the Reichswehr and worked as a commander and general staff officer in various units. In the Wehrmacht he led the 47th Volksgrenadier Division as commander during World War II . In the last days of the war Bork was with the leadership of the XIII. Army Corps instructed.
