Max Ludin

Max Lüdin (born July 13, 1883 in Basel ; † July 6, 1960 ) was a Swiss forensic doctor .

Life

Max Lüdin presided over the Swiss Society for Radiology from 1932 to 1934 .

Lüdin also headed X-ray diagnostics and the Institute for Physical Therapy at the University of Basel . His Venia legendi was also expanded by the curator to include "physical therapy and general X-ray diagnostics". In doing so, he established the academic orientation of X-ray diagnostics in Basel. Early on, he gave one-hour weekly courses in this new technology, which were initially not compulsory for students. At the request of Dean Wieland , Lüdin was appointed associate professor by the then government councilor and was given a teaching position for physical therapy and general radiology. Lüdin remained in office until 1954.
