history

The first written mention of the village Zlamany Vgezd took place in 1373 as the property of Jeneč Janáč from Újezd. He was followed by Aleš Světlovský von Sternberg , who left the village to Adam, the Hradian Jew, because of a debt . This sold Zlamany Vgezd in 1392 to Heralt von Kunstadt . Subsequently, the owners changed many times. During the Bohemian-Hungarian power struggles for the crown of Bohemia, Zlamany Vgezd was burned down between 1468 and 1470 along with the village and the Svárov fortress . In 1604 the village was called Zlamany Augezd . In 1686 Dominik Andreas I. von Kaunitz acquired the estate from the heirs of Apollonia Chorynský von Ledská and gave it to his rule Uherský Brod . The embarrassing jurisdiction was exercised by the Lowczowe prawo ( Buchlau hunting court ) until 1748 . In 1830 the construction of a new church began in Březolupy ; the municipalities of Šarovy , Zlamany Augezd and Svárov had previously sought to build it in a more central place between the villages. In 1846 the place was called Zlamanetz or Zlamany Augezd . Until the middle of the 19th century, Zlamanetz remained subordinate to Uherský Brod.

After the abolition of patrimonial Zlamanetz formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Uherský Brod . The current place name Zlámanec has been used since 1872 . In 1950 the municipality was assigned to the Okres Uherské Hradiště .
