history

Archaeological finds in the Záhumní corridor show that the area was settled in the first millennium BC. BC Quads , Celts and Slavs settled in the corridors of the place . The first written mention of the village of Paschowicz took place in 1365, when Karl von Paschowicz signed half of the 20-stroke village to his wife Anna. In 1371 the estate belonged jointly to the brothers Sazema and Jan von Paschowicz and their mother Anna. Between 1371 and 1374 Jan von Paschowicz sold his share to Mareš von Řipec. In 1376, Sazema's wife Eliška had her share in the land table transferred to Mareš. This united both shares and with the exception of one hat that belonged to the church in Ořechov , owned the entire village and put on the title of Paschowicz . 1384 exchanged Mareš Paschowicz at Stach von Újezd, a member of the Vladiken family of Šarov, for his goods Újezdec and Zákřov. Stach's sons Čeněk and Martin divided the village and the farm between them. Čeněk received the lower half and his brother the upper half of the village. In 1407 they ceded both shares to the brothers Čeněk and Václav von Malotín. The village of Passowicz at that time consisted of the manorial farm and 20 whole-hoppers and three quarter-hoppers. They sold the property to Wenzel von Wolfsberg in 1412, who from then on called himself Wenzel von Passowicz (Václav z Pašovic) . His son Zich sold the Passowicze estate to Jan von Rudka in 1437, who immediately passed it on to Jan Šarovec von Újezd. From this 1447 Jiří von Honbice Passowicz acquired and connected the estate to Ořechov. The inheritance was divided among his sons in 1478. Passowicze and Dobrkovice fell to Václav and Jan von Honbice, who separated Passowicze from Ořechov and made it an independent estate. From 1512 their brother Jiřík owned Passowicze and Dobrkovice. He immediately passed the goods on to his son-in-law Hynek von Zástřizl . In 1515 he bought the Hřivínův Újezd and Prakšice estates and combined them into one estate based in Prakšice. He founded a new branch of the Lords of Zástřizl, the knightly family of Zástřizl von Prakšice. In 1520 Jiří Prakšický from Zástřizl inherited the property. In 1538 he sold all the goods to his sister Kunigunde von Korotín. In the same year, Jiří's sons Oneš and Adam bought the Ořechov and Passowicze estates . In 1572 Adam Prakšický von Zástřizl transferred the rule of Ořechov with all accessories to his nephew Proček. With Proček Prakšický von Zástřizl, who died penniless in 1597, the line of the Zástřizl von Prakšice became extinct. Subsequent owners of the estate were from 1587 Jan von Šaratice, from 1603 Jan Zendler von Hof and then Havel Kurovský from Vrchlabí. The latter sold the Ořechov estate to Václav Kokorský of Kokor for 36,000 Moravian guilders in 1612. He sold the goods Ořechov, Polichno, Doubravy and Březůvky in 1614 for 48,000 Moravian guilders to Maria Magdalena von Zierotin , the wife of Johann Friedrich von Zierotin on Strážnice . Zierotin's goods were confiscated after the Battle of White Mountain and sold to the Silesian Count von Gashin . His widow Benigna, née Haugwitz of Biskupitz and Krumlov was sold in 1652 the estate Ořechov with the villages Ořechov, Hřivínův Újezd, Polichno, Doubravy, Maršov, Dobrkovice, Březůvky and Passowicze for 35,000 Rhenish guilders to Leo Wilhelm Kaunitz , who is his rule Uherský Brod struck. In 1752, according to the Theresian cadastre , Nad dědinou and Stará hora were two vineyards with several pressed buildings (bůdy) . When the houses were numbered in Passowicze in 1774, 43 houses were counted, the Preßbauden received no house numbers. In 1843 the village consisted of 90 houses and had 357 inhabitants. Passowicze always remained subordinate to Uherský Brod until the middle of the 19th century . The Counts of Kaunitz owned the goods until the 20th century.

After the abolition of patrimonial Pašovice / Paschowitz formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Uherský Brod . In 1866 the military brought in cholera , of which 29 people died in Pašovice within 26 days. On April 29, 1867, a storm destroyed the manorial threshing floor, two of the 35 cows housed there died. Until the end of the 19th century, Pašovice remained a purely agricultural village. Eleven residents died in concentration camps during the German occupation . In 1945 Pašovice consisted of 160 houses and had about 740 inhabitants. Between April 26 and May 1, 1945, the village was at the front during the Bratislava-Brno operation . The houses at the court were particularly hard hit by grenades during the fighting between the Wehrmacht and the Red and Romanian Armies. A boy died in the process; Six residential buildings, twelve stables, 30 barns and six sheds were destroyed and another 27 houses, 15 stables and six barns were badly damaged. In 1961 the municipality was assigned to the Okres Uherské Hradiště . Pašovice has had a coat of arms and a banner since 2005.
