After the abolition of patrimonial rule, Tučapy was established in 1848 in the Hungarian Hradisch district . Tučapy is one of the Moravian wine-growing towns . Slovak customs and costumes are maintained in the village. The village is also known for its annual masked ball and ceramic goods.
