The Vizovická vrchovina (German Wisowitzer Bergland ) is a mountain range of the Slovak-Moravian Carpathians in the Czech Republic .

geography

The mountainous region extends southeast of the city of Zlín in eastern Moravia. To the north, separated by the valleys of the Trnávka and Rokytenka, the Hostýnské vrchy mountains and to the northeast the Vsetínské vrchy . To the east, the Senice River forms the natural border with the Javorníky . The White Carpathians join in the south . To the south-west, the mountainous area drops into the South Moravian Basin through which the March flows. To the west, the March forms the border with the Mars Mountains . To the northwest, near Zlín, joins the Hornomoravský úval valley .
