geography

The Březnice rises southeast of the Zlín district Kudlov at the Koppe Zahumenní ( 462  m ) in the Vizovická vrchovina . Via Filíkovy Paseky, Březnice , Bohuslavice u Zlína , Šarovy , Lapač and Březolupy , you run through the mountains to the southwest. In Bílovice one the Březnice enters the Moravian level.

The lower reaches between Včelary , Topolná and Kněžpole in a large river bend to the west. After 24.8 km the Březnice flows north of Jarošov into the March. Its catchment area is 124.9 km².

In the estuary, to the right of the river, is the Canada nature reserve, a discarded oxbow lake by the March.
