history

The first written mention of Dobrkouicz was in 1360, when Vítek von Březolupy acquired the estate from the brothers Přech and Ješek von Slaneč. Around 1382 Vítek's brother Janáč von Újezd inherited the estate and in 1397 he sold Dobrkowicze to Mikoláš von Rozsochatec. He later referred to himself as Mikuláš von Dobrkovice and in 1406 assigned the estate to Mikšík von Újezd. Zikmund von Honbice, who bought Dobrkowicze in 1417, united the estate with Ořechov . He was followed by his son Jiřík, whose sons Markvart, Jiřík, Václav and Jan shared the property around 1480. Here fell Dobrkowicze and Pašovice jointly Vaclav and Jan to by Honbice. Between 1499 and 1504, Cilka von Brod can be traced as the owner of the Dobrkovice-Pašovice estate. Then the estate came back to Václav and Jan von Honbice, who left it to their brother Jiřík in 1512. Four years later, he transferred the estate to his son-in-law Hynek von Zástřizl . Hynek united Dobrkovice-Pašovice with his other estates Hřivínův Újezd and Prakšice , making the latter his seat. He founded a new branch of the Lords of Zástřizl, the knightly family of Zástřizl von Prakšice. In 1520 Jiří Prakšický from Zástřizl inherited the property. His sons Oneš and Adam released Dobrkowicze and Pašovice from Prakšice between 1533 and 1535 and re-connected the goods to Ořechov. Adam von Zástřizl expanded the property and made the Ořechov fortress the center of his estates. In 1581 Jan Hanuš of Šaratice acquired the Ořechov estate. Between 1603 and 1608 Ořechov and all accessories were attached to the Zlín estate under Johann Zendler von Hof . Havel Kurovský von Vrchlabí, who bought Ořechov in 1608, detached the estate from Zlín again. From 1610 Ořechov belonged to Václav Kokorský of Kokor. He sold the property in 1614 for 48,000 guilders to the widow of Johann Haugwitz von Biskupitz, Maria Magdalena von Zierotin , the wife of Johann Friedrich von Zierotin on Strážnice . Zierotin's goods were confiscated after the Battle of White Mountain and sold to the Silesian Count von Gashin . From his widow Benigna, née Haugwitz von Biskupitz and Krumlov, Leo Wilhelm von Kaunitz acquired the Hřivínův Újezd and Ořechov estates on Uherský Brod in 1652 and added them to his rule Uherský Brod. In the hoof register of 1671, 19 properties are shown for Dobrkovice, four of which were desolate. In 1720 the place was called Dobřzkowitz and in 1751 as Dobrkowitz . Dobrkowitz consisted of 41 houses in 1836 and had a cadastral area of 433 hectares. Until the middle of the 19th century Dobrkowitz always remained submissive to Uherský Brod. The Counts of Kaunitz owned the goods until the 20th century.

After the abolition of patrimonial Dobrkowice formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration and the judicial district Uherský Brod . At that time, 232 people lived in the village, which was characterized by agriculture and grazing. In 1869 the place consisted of 45 houses and had 223 inhabitants. Since 1872 the place is called Dobrkovice . In the same year the village school was inaugurated, before lessons were held in Velký Ořechov. In 1880 the village had 264 inhabitants and in 1921 there were 330. In 1910 the connecting road from Dobrkovice to the connecting road Uherský Brod - Velký Ořechov - Zlín was built. In the course of the land reform of 1923, the community received 23 hectares of land that had previously belonged to the large estates of Josef Pálffy in Velký Ořechov and Alois Serényi Sečovský in Kaňovice. In 1925 the municipalities of Dobrkovice and Kaňovice bought the Seče farm, 15 hectares of the farm were allocated to Dobrkovice. The new bridge over the Holomňa was built in 1933. In 1934 there were 64 farms in Dobrkovice. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1942. The village was electrified in 1945. In 1949 the village was assigned to the Okres Zlín . From 1950 the community belonged to the Okres Gottwaldov-okolí and from 1960 back to the Okres Gottwaldov, which since 1990 has been called Okres Zlín again after the political change . In 1961 Dobrkovice reached its highest population with 366 inhabitants. The school was closed in 1976 due to insufficient student numbers. Between 1980 and 1990 Dobrkovice was incorporated into Velký Ořechov . In the 1991 census, 315 people lived in the 84 houses in the village. The parish is in Velký Ořechov, where the registry office is located, previously it was in Prakšice between 1950 and 1960.
