history

The first written mention of the village Rodimow belonging to the episcopal fiefdom of Engelsberg took place in 1440 when it was enfeoffed to the mercenary captain Petr Nebojsa, who was in the service of the Hungarian knight Pankraz von Svätý Mikuláš . A little later, Pankraz von Svätý Mikuláš took possession of the fief itself. The castles Engelsberg and Světlov served him as a starting point for raids. After the robber baron became a nuisance, the Moravian estates bought both castles in 1449 and sold them to Burian von Vlčnov and Zich von Lipina. The latter died soon afterwards and, with the consent of the bishop, Burian's son Jiřík von Vlčnov inherited his property. At that time, the Engelsberg fief included the villages of Sehradice , Nevšová, Horní Lhota , Dolní Lhota , Radimow , Krátká and Vasily . During the power struggle between Georg von Podiebrad and Matthias Corvinus , the castles Světlov and Engelsberg were destroyed. In 1474 Jiřík von Vlčnov sold the fief of Engelsberg and the allodial rule of Světlov to Ctibor von Landstein . Ctibor had the Nový Světlov Castle built between 1480 and 1500 near Bojkovice as the new manor . After the destruction of Engelsberg Castle, the center of the feud was the Vasilsko court, after which it was henceforth called the Vasilsko feudal estate . It was always associated with the Světlov rule until the middle of the 19th century. In 1532 the village was called Rodimow . Trimmers have been documented in Rodimow since 1545, and later all men in the village practiced this craft. The Tettau von Tettau family belonged to the following owners for three generations between 1554 and 1592 . In 1613 Franz Count Serényi de Kis Sereni acquired the property. After his death in 1621 his four sons Michael, Emmerich, Paul and Gabriel jointly inherited the paternal property. After the death of their older brothers, Paul and Gabriel shared the property in 1633. Paul received the goods Luhačovice , Pozlovice , Řetechov, Pradlisko , Provodov , Podhradí , Petrůvka , Žilín, Kladná and Přečkovice, from which he formed the new rule Luhačovice, while the remaining part of Světlov and the fiefdom Vasilsko fell to Gabriel. Other historical place names are Rudimow (1718), Radymow (1720) and Rudimow (1751). In 1750 Karoline Countess Serényi left the lords of Světlov, Milotice and Svatobořice as well as the Vasilsko feudal estate to her husband Quiard Josef Count Saint Julien. In 1757 he bought the Vasilsko estate from the fief for the Diocese of Olomouc for 12,000 guilders. In 1803 his sons sold the property to Sophie Haugwitz von Biskupitz. The Vasilsko estate fell from her as an inheritance to her son Karl Haugwitz von Biskupitz and later his brother-in-law Heinrich Graf Larisch-Moennich. In 1812 a makeshift school was set up in Rudimow , before lessons were held in Slavičín. In the Lochy and Drahanec corridors, pelosiderite was extracted in the first half of the 19th century and melted down in the Bojkovice smelter. Most of the men traveled across the country and offered his services to circumcise cattle. Until the middle of the 19th century the village was always subject to the Vasilsko estate.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Rudimov / Rudimow 1850 a municipality in the district administration Uherský Brod and the District Court Valašské Klobouky . After the death of his father, Eugen Larisch-Moennich combined the Světlov and Vasilsko estates into one unit from 1859. After the abolition of the district authorities, Rudimov belonged to the Uherský Brod district from 1854 and was assigned to the Valašské Klobouky district office the following year. From 1868 the village belonged to the re-established District Commission Uherský Brod and two years later to the local judicial district. In 1885 a one-class Czech village school was established. At the end of the 19th century, the place was known as Rudímov for a decade . The other owners of the estates included Count Bellegarde from 1884, Count Karátsonyí from 1906, and Prince Lubomirski from the following year. In 1905 Rudimov was assigned to the judicial district Bojkovice , to which the place belonged until 1948. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1907. In 1914 the Bodenbank acquired the large estate. From 1926 the land belonged to the Zbořil family. In 1949 the community was assigned to the Okres Valašské Klobouky. After its abolition of the Okres Valašské Klobouky, Rudimov came to the Okres Gottwaldov in late 1960 . Between 1980 and 1991 Rudimov was incorporated into Slavičín . The timbered wells on lots 23 and 82 were destroyed in the 1970s and removed from the list of monuments in 1983. The Rudimov municipality has existed again since 1992. She carries a coat of arms and a banner.
