history

The first written mention of the village of Pradliska , which belonged to the Světlov domain , was made in 1594 when Wenceslaus Tettauer von Tettau sold the Nový Světlov castle with all its accessories to Jan Jetřich von Kunovice. He left the rule four years later in exchange for Mährisch Weißkirchen to his sister Anna Marie and her husband Zdeněk Žampach von Potštejn. In 1610 Hans Petřvaldský von Petřvald acquired the rule of Světlov, followed in 1614 by Count Franz Serényi. After his death in 1621 his four sons Michael, Emmerich, Paul and Gabriel jointly inherited the paternal property. After the death of their older brothers, Paul and Gabriel shared the property in 1633. Paul received the goods Luhačovice , Pozlovice , Řetechov, Pradlisko, Provodov , Podhradí , Petrůvka , Žilín, Kladná and Přečkovice, from which he formed the new rule Luhačovice, while the remaining part of Světlov and the fiefdom Vasilsko fell to Gabriel . Since 1670 the place was called Pradlisko . The land registers have been kept since 1782. In 1834, 125 people lived in the 26 houses in the village. Until the middle of the 19th century Pradlisko remained subordinate to the Luhačovice rule.

After the abolition of patrimonial Pradlisko formed from 1850 a settlement of the municipality Řetěchov in the district administration and the judicial district Uherský Brod . From 1872 the place was called Pradlísko , and the municipality was called Řetechov-Pradlísko until 1924 . In 1880 the village had grown to 35 houses and had 159 inhabitants. Twenty years later, 149 people lived in the place and in 1921 there were 135. In 1924 the place name was changed to Prádlisko . The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1941, dissolved in 1951 and re-established in 1955. In 1942 the place was electrified. In 1958 the village was detached from the Pozlovice parish and assigned to the Provodov parish. At the beginning of 1961, the place was called Pradlisko again and at the same time assigned to Okres Gottwaldov, which has been called Okres Zlín again since 1990 after the political change . As part of the municipality Řetechov, Pradlisko was incorporated into Luhačovice in 1976 and finally re- municipalityed to Ludkovice in 1980. A fruit brandy distillery was operated in Pradlisko until 1977. The road from Ludkovice via Pradlisko to Provodov was renovated in 2009 to protect the drinking water dam.
