history

The first written mention of the villages Drzkowa Superiori and Drzkowa Inferiori , which belonged to the Luckow rule , was made in 1391 in the Olomouc country table . Drzkowa Superiori was probably destroyed by fire, and legend has it that it sank into the ground with its church. Since 1466 there was only one village Drzkow . The old trade route from Lukov to Vsetín ran through the village . Since 1480 the village is parish to Kašava. In 1548 the village was referred to as Drssczkowa , then as Drschtkowa and in 1617 as Drsstkowa . The owners of the Lukov estate were in the 16th century a. a. the Nekesch from Landek. Lucretia von Witschkow, née Nekesch von Landek, who had inherited the rule in 1607, married Albrecht von Waldstein in 1609 . In 1625 Waldstein Lukov ceded all accessories to the emperor, who passed the rule to Stephan Schmidt von Freihofen. From this in 1628 the Minkwitz von Minkwitzburg acquired the now heavily indebted rule. In 1710 the lords of Rottal bought Lukov. Johann von Rottal sold the goods in 1724 to Johann Friedrich Graf von Seilern -Aspang, whose descendants held the property until 1945. A glassworks was built in Hutě in the 18th century, but it was closed again after only five years of operation. After the patent of tolerance was issued, Drsstkowa was the center of Protestants in the Lukov rule. In particular, the residents of the numerous Passeks were Protestant. They were parish in Hošťálková . The inhabitants lived from agriculture, which was not very bearable due to the harsh climate and the mountainous location, and made wooden products by working from home. The road from Lukova to Hošťálková was built in 1844 and the municipality was responsible for its maintenance. Cholera broke out for the first time in 1848 . Until the middle of the 19th century, the village always remained subservient to Lukov.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Drštková 1850 a municipality in the district administration Uherský Brod . In 1851 the place was again hit by a cholera epidemic. From 1855 the village belonged to the Vizovice District and from 1868 to the Holešov District . In 1890 a Catholic school was set up in Drštková , before the lessons for the children of the Catholics in Kašava took place. The Protestants sent their children to school in Hošťálková. In 1887 cholera broke out again. In 1905 the school in Drštková became a public school and the Protestant children were retrained there. Since 1924 the community has been called Držková / Derschkowa . In 1927 a typhus epidemic broke out in the village . In 1935 the village consisted of 134 houses and had 735 Czech inhabitants. These included 635 Catholics and 95 Protestants. In 1935 Držková was assigned to the Zlín District. From 1954 Držková belonged to Okres Gottwaldov-venkov and from 1960 back to Okres Gottwaldov, which after the political change of 1989 has been called Okres Zlín again since 1990.
