Max Lossow

Karl Josef Maximilian "Max" Lossow , also Karl von Lossow , (born September 2, 1856 in Glauchau ; † August 3, 1924 ) was a German civil servant.

Life

Carl Joseph Maximilian Lossow was one of four children of the businessman Emil Lossow and his wife Marie Emilie Albertine Lossow nee Walther. His older brothers were Arthur Lossow and William Lossow . He attended the grammar school in Zwickau and studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg .

As a member of the government of the Zwickau district administration , he was promoted to governor in Dippoldiswalde in 1898 , where he worked until 1903. From 1903 to 1907 he was the official governor in Meißen . He was Privy Councilor and lecturer Council in Saxony Ministry of the Interior in Dresden and 1910-1922 District Chief of Kreishauptmannschaft Chemnitz . He was the bearer of the Knight's Cross 1st Class from the Saxon Order of Merit and the Knight's Cross 1st Class from the Albrecht Order with the Crown and the Officer's Cross of the Austrian Franz Joseph Order .
