Francis Giraud

Francis Giraud (born July 4, 1932 in Marseille - † October 23, 2010 ) was a French politician .

Giraud was a doctor full-time. From 1998 to 2008 he was a member of the Senate . There he initially represented the RPR and later the UMP . In addition to his work as a senator, he was mayor of the municipality of Roquefort-la-Bédoule from 1983 . He resigned from this post in August 2009 for health reasons. In the same year Giraud was appointed a member of the Legion of Honor .
