Anne-Marie Trinquier

Anne-Marie Trinquier (born July 3, 1901 in Arles , † April 3, 1996 in Paris ) was a French politician. From 1946 to 1948 she was a member of the Conseil de la République , today's Senate .

Trinquier was already General Councilor of the Bouches-du-Rhône department when she ran for election to the Conseil de la République in 1946. She stood as a top candidate in the Bouches-du-Rhône department for the Mouvement républicain populaire and was able to move into the Conseil. There she was responsible for economic issues, education and the French overseas territories. In 1948 Trinquier reappeared at the top of the list, but could not be elected. She then withdrew from politics and died in Paris in 1996.
