Joseph Lasalarie

Joseph Lasalarie (born March 11, 1893 in Marseille , † June 5, 1957 ibid) was a French politician. From 1948 to 1955 he was a member of the Conseil de la République and the resulting Senate .

Lasalarie studied law, became a lawyer and took part in the First World War. For his services in the war he received the Croix de guerre . From then on, he worked as a lawyer and entered the General Council of the Bouches-du-Rhône department in 1931 . In 1946 he became President of the General Council. In the same year he was made a Knight of the Legion of Honor . In 1948 he won a seat in the Conseil de la République for the SFIO . In the next election in 1955, he did not run again. Lasalarie died in 1957.
