Max Pezzali (* 14. November 1967 in Pavia as Massimo Pezzali ) is an Italian pop singer. After success with his band 883 , he began a solo career in the early 2000s.

Career

In 1991 Pezzali founded the band 883 with Mauro Repetto. Despite Repetto's early exit, the band was a great success, and by the early 2000s they had a number of number one albums. With the publication of the compilation Love / Life (for the first time under the name of Max Pezzali / 883 ) in 2002, Pezzali gradually broke away from the band name and continued as a solo artist . The first album in 2004 was Il mondo insieme a te , which once again reached the top of the chart.

After the compilation Tutto Max (2005), the next album Time Out was released in 2007 . On this, too, were Eros Ramazzotti and Tiziano Ferro heard. The following extended tour drew a live album in 2008. Pezzali also published his first novel, Per prendersi una vita . After a collaboration with the band Dari 2009, the singer took with the song Il mio secondo tempo at the Sanremo Music Festival in 2011 in part, but failed before the final.

With Hanno ucciso l'Uomo Ragno 2012 , Pezzali reissued the successful 883 debut album in 2012 by re-recording the songs with a number of Italian rappers. At Max 20 in 2013 he again presented 14 old songs as newly recorded duets and five new titles. The album's first single was L'universo tranne noi . In 2014, Astronave Max released a new album, preceded by the single È venerdì . In 2016, Pezzali appeared as a juror on the talent show The Voice of Italy .

In 2017 he released the album Le canzoni alla radio and announced a joint project with Nek and Francesco Renga . The joint album of the three musicians was released in 2018 under the title Max Nek Renga - Il disco .
