Max Richter

Max Richter (born May 19, 1887 in Kaitz near Dresden , † October 5, 1978 in Bad Brückenau ) was a German politician (DVP).

Live and act

Richter was born the son of a master carpenter. After attending the Annenschule in Dresden, he studied law and economics at the University of Leipzig . After passing the state and doctoral examinations (Dr. jur. Et phil.) He worked from 1912 to June 1915 at the chambers of commerce in Magdeburg and Stettin . In July 1915 Richter took over the management of the Association of Thuringian Industrialists. In January he gave up this position in favor of the management of the Association of German Luxury Porcelain Factories.

After the First World War , Richter joined the German People's Party (DVP), for which he sat in the Reichstag from June 1920 to May 1924 as a representative of constituency 13 (Thuringia) .

From April 1924 to December 1925 Richter served as the Thuringian State Councilor for Altenburg .
