Max Rudolf Lehmann
Max Rudolf Lehmann (born September 18, 1886 in Leuben ; † October 31, 1965 ) was a German economist .
Life
Lehmann came from a family of pastors from Saxony and after completing his schooling began studying metallurgy at the Bergakademie in Clausthal, where he became a member of the Corps Montania . He later continued his studies in Dresden and Aachen. In 1913 he passed the diploma exam as a metalworker. In 1916 he received his doctorate from the TH Aachen as Dr.-Ing. Three years later he did his doctorate with Fritz Schmidt in Frankfurt am Main with a thesis on accounting in lead smelters. In 1920 he received the teaching license of Business Administration at the University of Frankfurt am Main . Also in 1920 he completed his habilitation at the TH Dresden and was a lecturer there until he was appointed to the Nuremberg University of Economics and Social Sciences . In Nuremberg he became full professor for business administration. In 1954 he retired .
Lehmann had been a member of the NSDAP since December 1932 . In November 1933 he signed the professors' declaration of Adolf Hitler at German universities and colleges .
