Matthias Max Schön (born July 31, 1961 in Lübeck ) is a German business economist .

Life

Max Schön is a son of Reinhold Schön, a businessman from Lübeck. His father Max Paul Otto Schön founded a wholesaler for steel and pipes in 1920, which Reinhold Schön expanded to include tools, machines, plumbing, heating and kitchens. In 1981, Max Schön graduated from the state grammar school (today: Leibniz grammar school) in Bad Schwartau. He studied business administration at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Stuttgart. After the early death of his father, he took over the management of the family business in 1985.
