Max Stich (born November 24, 1940 in Poznan ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Stich attended schools in Bredstedt , Niebüll and Husum and graduated from high school. He studied in Berlin , Hamburg and Kiel and in 1967 took the first teacher examination at the PH Kiel. The second teacher examination followed in 1971, after which he was a teacher at the Pestalozzi School in Flensburg from 1967 to 1975.

In 1961, Stich joined the Junge Union . He was local and district chairman in Husum, later in Flensburg. Afterwards he was deputy state chairman. In 1963 he became a member of the CDU, where he was district chairman of Flensburg-Stadt, a member of the state executive committee and a member of the European Union . From 1970 to 1975, Stich was a member of the Flensburg council and chairman of the sports committee. He was also a member of the school committee, the building committee, the youth welfare committee, chairman of the high schools and a member of the school association of the special school for the mentally handicapped. He is also chairman of the Flensburg district handball association, a member of two Flensburg sports clubs and of Lebenshilfe . He is first lieutenant in the German Armed Forces, member of the German-American Society and chairman of the ADAC Schleswig-Holstein.

From 1975 to 1992, Stich sat in the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein . He was initially elected directly in the constituency of Flensburg-Ost, later he moved into the state parliament via the list. From August 1, 1984 to October 2, 1987, he was Parliamentary Representative of the Minister of Education and Parliamentary State Secretary for Youth and Sport.
