Max Weichenrieder

Max Weichenrieder (born February 25, 1950 in Stadelhof ) is a Bavarian politician (CSU) and was President of the Upper Bavarian Farmers' Association. From 2002 to 2008 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .

biography

Max Weichenrieder attended the Niederlauterbach elementary school from 1956 to 1963 . After completing elementary school, he graduated from the Ingolstadt commercial and business school in 1966. In 1973, Max Weichenrieder passed his master craftsman examination and has worked as a farmer ever since.

Political and social activities

In 1978 Max Weichenrieder joined the CSU . Since 1978 he has been a local councilor for the Wolnzach community and since 1990 district councilor in the Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm district .

Member of the state parliament

Max Weichenrieder has been a member of the Bavarian State Parliament since 2002 and is a member of the Committee on Agriculture and Forests and the Committee on Environment, Health and Consumer Protection.

Within the CSU parliamentary group, Max Weichenrieder is chairman of the wastewater disposal working group in rural areas, a member of the green genetic engineering working group and a member of the agriculture and forestry working group.

In the state elections in 2008 he was unable to return to the state parliament as a candidate on the list for the Upper Bavaria district due to the heavy losses suffered by the CSU.

Farmers associations

Max Weichenrieder is district chairman in the Pfaffenhofen Farmers 'Association and was President of the Upper Bavarian Farmers' Association until March 2012. He is also a board member of the Agricultural Social Insurance Franconia and Upper Bavaria.

Max Weichenrieder is married and has three children. He lives with his family in Stadelhof near Wolnzach.
