Max Weidner

Max Weidner (born February 10, 1859 in Breslau ; † November 20, 1933 there ) was a German alternative doctor .

Life

Max Weidner studied medicine at the University of Breslau . In 1878 he became a member of the Corps Silingia Breslau . After taking the state examination and becoming a Dr. med. After receiving his doctorate, he became a local doctor in Wroclaw. In addition, he ran an extensive medical practice and worked as an association and medical officer of various companies. After he was cured of a life-threatening illness by homeopathic means in 1888, he became increasingly active in the field of homeopathy , which resulted in the abandonment of almost all public offices. In 1893 he passed the dispensing exam. In 1906 he founded the homeopathic clinic in Breslau as the first institution of its kind in Breslau, in which hydro- and electrotherapeutic, physical-dietetic and homeopathic treatments and, from around 1913, also surgical interventions were carried out. Weidner managed the clinic until at least 1918.
