Max Werner Joseph Anton Wolff-Metternich to the canal
Max Werner Joseph Anton Graf Wolff-Metternich zur Gracht (born October 30, 1770 in Bonn , † March 2, 1839 in Schloss Gracht ) was a civil servant and member of the state parliament.
Max Werner Joseph Anton Graf Wolff-Metternich zur Gracht was the son of the chief bailiff, Privy Councilor of State and Court Councilor Johann Ignatz Graf Wolff-Metternich zur Gracht (born June 6, 1740 in Bonn; † March 1, 1790 ibid) and his wife Antoniette Viktoria Franziska Walpurgis born from the Asseburg (25 February 1744 * in Hinneburg; † October 6, 1797 in Dusseldorf), daughter of the Electoral Cologne first minister and High steward Hermann Werner von der Asseburg .
Max Werner Joseph Anton Graf Wolff-Metternich zur Gracht, who was a Catholic denomination, married Franziska, born Freiin von der Wenige on June 11, 1795 in Münster (* October 21, 1775 in Münster; † April 20, 1800 ibid) , the daughter of the Cologne secret council and chief hunter Clemens August Freiherr von der Wenige. In his second marriage, he married the sister of his first wife, Mathilde (born July 4, 1786 in Münster, † April 1, 1869 in Gracht) in Kirchhellen on February 16, 1805.
Max Werner Joseph Anton Graf Wolff-Metternich zur Gracht was an elected member of the Herrenbank of the estates of the Duchy of Nassau from 1832 to 1838 .
