Max von Stadlbaur

Max von Stadlbaur , also Maximilian von Stadlbauer , (born July 13, 1808 in Kirchenthumbach , Upper Palatinate , † September 5, 1866 in Miesbach ) was a German Roman Catholic theologian .

After attending the Amberg college, Max von Stadlbaur studied philosophy and theology at the University of Munich . In 1831 he was ordained a priest by Archbishop Lothar Anselm . In 1832 he was with Scripture As to the idea of God in relation to religion and morality to Dr. theol. PhD. In 1834 he was appointed professor for moral theology and New Testament exegesis at the Lyceum Freising and in 1841 professor for moral theology at the University of Munich. In 1844 he was appointed full professor of dogmatics . Max von Stadlbaur was Rector of the University of Munich from 1848 to 1849 and 1853 to 1854.

From 1849 to 1855 he was a member of the Chamber of Deputies in the Bavarian Parliament for the constituency of Amberg:

  • 14th State Parliament: 1849-1850
  • 15th State Parliament: 1851-1852
  • 16th State Parliament: 1853–1855
