The placements in the individual competitions varied from places 27 to 60, but Braun once again caused a sensation in the Kazakh team with a strong fourth place in the relay competition at the 2013 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Obertilliach behind the teams from France , Sweden and Germany .

Braun made his debut on November 29, 2014 in a sprint race in the IBU Cup in the 2014/15 season in Beitostølen , in which he finished 64th. After he finished 86th in the sprint competition and 53rd in the individual competition, he came with the Kazakh relay with Jan Sawizki , Anton Pantow and Vasili Podkorytow more than four minutes behind in 17th place.
