Maximilian Bobinger

Maximilian Bobinger (born March 9, 1895 in Mödishofen , Augsburg district, † August 16, 1973 in Augsburg ) was a German teacher and science historian .

Maximilian Bobinger attended high school near St. Stephan in Augsburg and then studied mathematics and physics in Munich. In 1922 he became a teacher in Miesbach , from 1924 in Augsburg, first at the municipal commercial college, from 1948 at the construction and engineering school and from 1951 teacher at the Maria-Theresia-Gymnasium , of which he was director from 1956 until his retirement in 1961 . In 1963 Bobinger received the Federal Cross of Merit

He researched and published in the field of the history of technical instrument makers in Augsburg.
