Maximilian Friedrich Casimir von Knigge
Maximilian Friedrich Casimir Freiherr von Knigge (born October 11, 1653 , † November 24, 1721 ) was Courland's Oberhofmarschall.
He was the youngest son of Friedrich Ulrich Freiherr von Knigge and was master of Breitenbett, Leveste , Pattensen and Thal. He was married to Anna Sibylla von der Recke from the house of Neuchâtel since 1683. From this marriage there were four daughters and five sons.
He lived for a long time on the Vorwerk Friedrichrode in the Amt Arnstein and is the great-grandfather of Adolph Freiherr Knigge .
