Maximilian von Polenz

Maximilian Adolf von Polenz (* 19th January 1837 in Chemnitz , † 17th January 1907 in Niederlößnitz ) was Privy Councilor, Amtshauptmann , state and Reichstag.

Polenz was the son of Eduard von Polenz and attended the Blochmann-Vitzthumsche Gymnasium and the University of Leipzig , where he studied law. From 1877 to 1892 Polenz served as the governor of the Auerbach governorate . From 1880 to 1892 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Landtag of the Kingdom of Saxony .

From 1892 to 1900 he was the governor of the Plauen administration . From 1893 he belonged to the German Reichstag for the constituency Kingdom of Saxony 23 ( Plauen , Oelsnitz , Klingenthal ) and the German Conservative Party . His mandate was declared invalid on April 18, 1894.

Polenz was buried in the Radebeul-West cemetery.

  1. ^ Day of death on January 17th according to the epitaph. The database of the members of the Reichstag of the Empire 1867/71 to 1918 gives a different date of January 18.
