Maximilian von Schade

Maximilian Freiherr von Schade (born April 28, 1792 in Ahausen Castle , Finnentrop , † 1870 Crassenstein Castle , Beckum ) was a German administrative lawyer and Prussian district administrator .

Life

Maximilian Freiherr von Schade comes from the knightly and charitable Westphalian noble family Schade . His parents were Maximilian Friedrich Freiherr von Schade and Antonetta Helene Philippine Franziska Maria Freifrau von Schade nee. from Weichs .

He studied law at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster , the University of Gießen and the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In October 1813 he volunteered for the Hessian hunters and was appointed captain in March 1814 . His discharge from the Hessian military service was on August 7, 1814. On November 14, 1818 he was captain in the 2nd Arnsberg Landwehr Regiment . In 1817 he was appointed government referendar to the Arnsberg district government and on January 18, 1820 he was entrusted with the municipal administration of the Lippstadt district office. He passed his examination for district administrator with "good", so that on November 8, 1821 he was definitively appointed district administrator of the Lippstadt district. On March 11, 1857, he was dismissed from civil service for reasons of age. Since he died unmarried, his great-nephew Maximilian von Schade-Ahausen, called von Rump , inherited Schloss Ahausen.
