Maximiliano Arias , full name Álvaro Maximiliano Arias Invernizzi , (born October 3, 1988 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
The 1.85 meter tall defensive player Arias played at least in 2004 for the youth team of Club Atlético Peñarol . There was at the beginning of his career in the 2008/09 season, in which he scored a goal in the Primera División , in the first division squad of the "Aurinegros". In the 2009/10 season he ran in eleven league games (one goal) for the first division club Centro Atlético Fénix . In the same season he joined the Romanian club Astra Giurgiu , for which he played two first division games (no goal). In July 2010 he returned to Uruguay and tied himself to the Rampla Juniors , for which he ran up twelve times in the Primera División until June 2011 and scored two goals. He then started his second international career in Mexico at Querétaro FC . In the Mexicans, however, he only came in one encounter of the Primera División to train. From mid-August 2012 followed a loan engagement at Liverpool Montevideo . At the Montevideo club, he was used in eight first division games (one goal) and one encounter (no goal) of the Copa Sudamericana until he moved to Europe again in January 2013. There he played in five games (no goal) for Brescia Calcio in Serie B for the remainder of the 2012/13 season . In January 2014 he signed again with Fénix and played a first division game (no goal) for the Montevideans until the end of the season. At Apertura 2014 he moved back to the first division promoted Rampla Juniors and was used seven times (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league in that half series. At Clausura 2015 he joined the league competitor Sud América , for which he completed another first division game (no goal). In early July 2015, he moved to El Tanque Sisley within the league . In the Apertura 2015 he was there once (no goal) in the Primera División. At the beginning of 2016 he returned to Sud América and played in twelve other top division games (one goal) in the 2015 Clausura. In early July 2016 he rejoined Liverpool Montevideo, for which he played four first division games (no goal) in the 2016 season. In January 2017, he moved to River Plate Montevideo within the league . In the 2017 season he played for the Montevideans so far (as of August 7, 2017) in two first division matches (no goal).
National team
Arias was a member of the Uruguayan U-16 team coached by Ángel Castelnoble and Gustavo Ferrín , which participated in the U-16 South American Championship in Paraguay in 2004 and finished fourth. He was appointed in October 2004 by the then coach Gustavo Ferrín for a course for the Uruguayan U-17 national team in preparation for the U-17 South American Championship in 2005 . He was then also a member of the squad that was vice South American champion in Venezuela . At the U-17 World Cup in 2005 , he was also in the Uruguayan squad.
