The Mayeda Peak is a 2,890 m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Marshall Mountains of the Queen Alexandra chain in the Transantarctic Mountains, it rises 7 km north of Mount Marshall .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1966 after Fred H. Mayeda (1919-1964), a meteorologist in the United States Antarctic Research Program at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in 1959.
