Maynardville is a town in Union County in the US state of Tennessee . It is also the county seat . According to the 2000 census , it had a population of 1,782 in an area of 14.0 km². The population density is 127.3 per km².
Demographics
Maynardville's 1,782 residents, found in the 2000 census, lived in 683 households; including 463 families. The population density was 127 per square kilometer. 769 residential units were recorded in the village. The racial the population was composed of 98.4 percent white, 0.2 percent African American and 0.2 percent of other races; 1.3 percent said they belonged to several ethnic groups.
