McCain Foods Limited is a producer of french fries and other oven-ready meals.

The company was founded in 1956 by brothers Wallace and Harrison McCain in Florenceville , New Brunswick , Canada .

McCain employs 20,000 people in 55 manufacturing facilities in twelve countries on six continents. The German McCain offshoot is "McCain Deutschland GmbH" in Eschborn near Frankfurt am Main .

The company, together with its competitors Agrarfrost and Lamb Weston, supplies French fries to McDonald’s Germany.

The Belgian potato processor Lutosa, previously part of the PinguinLutosa Group, has been part of the McCain Group since 2013 .
