Mediterrania-Saïdia

Mediterrania-Saïdia is a seaside resort opened in 2009 in Morocco near Saidia , Berkane province . It is located in the northeast of the country near the border with Algeria .

The place has a 14 km long sandy beach and a marina of 290,000 m². Berths for 1,350 yachts up to 50 m in length are to be created, three golf courses with 18 holes on 210  hectares , the Medina Center shopping center on 40,000 m². Only four- and five-star hotels with a total of 17,000 beds and 300 villas are being built. In the final stage, 8,000 jobs are planned.

Oujda Airport (around 40 km south-east) and Nador Airport (around 70 km) are nearby . The place can be reached in one hour from Spain , in two hours from France and Italy and in three hours from Great Britain or Germany . The distances by boat are 148 km from Almería and 220 km from the Costa del Sol .
