The Medway River is a river in the northwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
The river has its source on the First-of-May-Plains , around eleven kilometers north of Lake Mackintosh . From there it flows north-northeast and flows into the River Leven about nine kilometers east of the Talbots Lagoon .
