Meego - A Nanny Alien is the title of a short-lived, 13-episode sitcom that was produced in the US in 1997.
content
Meego, an alien with 9,000 years of age, lands with his spaceship on earth and meets the Trip, Alex and Maggie Parker siblings. They do not want to let their newfound boyfriend go so quickly and persuade their busy father, the doctor Edward Parker, to employ Meego as a nanny. A time full of turbulent and bizarre moments begins.
Background information
- The series was created to follow up on the success of Hinterm Mond with a similar story, but the producers' expectations were not fulfilled. Few Americans liked the series, so it was discontinued after only 13 episodes.
- Erik von Detten was only seen in the pilot and was then replaced by Will Estes .
- In the second episode ( Money or Love ) Jaleel White appears as Steve Urkel from the series All Under One Roof .
Awards
In addition to a YoungStar Award nomination for Jonathan Lipnicki , Michelle Trachtenberg was able to win a Young Artist Award .
