The Meek Channel is a narrow channel off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . In the group of the Argentine Islands of the Wilhelm Archipelago , it separates the Galíndez Island in the southwest from Grotto Island and Corner Island in the northeast.
The canal was mapped and named by participants in the British Graham Land Expedition (1934–1937) led by the Australian polar explorer John Rymill . It is named after the ship engineer and geodesist William McCarter Meek, who was involved in the preparation of the expedition ship Penola .
