societies

Beginnings

The son of Tunisian immigrants began his career in his hometown of Toulouse with FC Toulouse , where he was brought to the first team in 1998. In 2000, the left-footed player moved to Racing Santander in the Spanish Primera División for a year , where he was only used in the second team, and from 2001 also in the first team. Nafti completed 110 games for the club.

Birmingham City

Through his performances in Spain, he also recommended himself for foreign clubs, so that the English promoted Birmingham City secured his services on loan for the second half of the 2004/05 season . In the following ten missions he was able to convince the club management to provide him with a permanent contract in the summer.

After he had missed almost the entire 2005/06 season due to a serious injury and his club was relegated from the Premier League , he was able to intervene again in the following season and participate in the promotion. It was only in August 2008 that he was able to achieve his first competitive goal for the Blues in the League Cup against the Wycombe Wanderers .

Aris Saloniki

After his club decided not to renew his contract in the summer of 2009, Nafti signed a two-year contract with Greek first division club Aris Saloniki . After he had come on 22 missions in the first season, he lost his regular place in the following season.

Real Valladolid

Then Nafti moved in January 2011 to the Spanish second division club Real Valladolid , where he signed a contract until the end of the 2011/12 season. In the summer of 2012 he joined league rivals Real Murcia .

National team

Nafti won the Africa championship with the Tunisian national team in his own country and took part in the 2006 World Cup, where he played in all three preliminary round matches .
