Mehmet Al (born July 11, 1983 in Izmir ) is a Turkish football player who plays for Aydınspor in 1923 .
Career
Club career
Al started club soccer in the youth division of 7 Eylül İdman Yurdu . From here he switched to the youth team at Bursaspor in the summer of 1998 . From the 2000/01 season onwards, in addition to his work with the reserve team, he was also able to train with the professionals. Over time he was also included in some professional league games and sat on the bench. He made his debut on September 16, 2000 against Denizlispor . By the end of the season he had four league games. For the new season he received a professional contract but played one season exclusively for the reserve team. In 2002/03 one wanted to enable him match practice in a professional league and loaned him to the third division club Bursa Merinosspor . Here he played one season continuously. For the 2003/04 season he returned to Bursaspor and from then on played regularly for the professionals. After his club failed to stay up at the end of the season, Al went with his team to the TFF 1st Lig and rose with this after two seasons as champions of the TFF 1st Lig again in the Süper Lig .
Al separated after this success from the club and moved to the second division Eskişehirspor . After a season at his new club, he played three seasons with various second division clubs.
For the 2010/11 season he moved to Çaykur Rizespor . In his new team, he made the leap into the regular formation straight away. With ten goals in 30 games, he played a key role in ensuring that his club fought for promotion to the Süper Lig until the last game . Here you had the disadvantage of Orduspor . At the end of the 2012/13 season you reached the runner-up of the TFF 1st Lig promotion.
Since his contract, which expired in the summer of 2013, was not extended after the rise with Rizespor, Al moved to the new second division side Balıkesirspor . Al also won the championship with this club at the end of the season and was promoted to the Süper Lig.
In the summer of 2014 he moved to the third division Aydınspor 1923 .
National team
Al started playing for the Turkish national youth teams at an early age. He went through all youth teams from the U-15.
