All-around badge

The all -around badge is an award of the German Athletics Association , which is awarded for the entirety of the achievements in different athletics disciplines.

The all- around competition consists of one or more disciplines from the areas of running , jumping and throwing. Male participants can choose to take the badge in three , pentathlon or decathlon . Instead of the decathlon, female participants can choose the heptathlon . Depending on the age group, adolescents and children are offered different options, usually including four-way combat.

The achievements made across all disciplines are converted and added up using point tables. Depending on the level of the resulting result, the all-around badge is awarded in bronze, silver or gold.

Acceptance authorization

Acceptable are:

  • DLV referee
  • Sports badge examiner
  • Teachers of all types of schools teaching physical education

Recognition for the German Sports Badge (DSA)

By submitting the all-around badge, whether in bronze, silver or gold, the examination in the discipline group coordination of the DSA at the level gold is considered fulfilled in the year of the exhibition .
