Meiko Reissmann

Meiko Reissmann (born May 20, 1977 in Kusel ) is a German singer . He is a former member of the pop group Overground .

Tear's career started in 2003 with the victory in the third season of ProSieben - talent show Popstars , in which the boy band Overground emerged. Together with his three band mates Akay , Ken and Marq, he reached number 1 in the German single charts with their first single Schick mir 'nen Engel in autumn 2003 . At the same time, the single also reached number 1 in Austria and Switzerland .

In addition to his work as a singer, he studied business administration at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz .

Reissmann played a small television role in the German crime series SOKO 5113 , and he was also seen in the German films Mädchen über Bord and Eine unter Tausend . In the past few years, Reißmann has repeatedly worked as a moderator and laudator . He moderated programs like Bravo TV on ZDF and Stars 2005 for the radio station N1 in Nuremberg . He hosted the Morning Show several times for Radio N1 . For Hit Radio FFH and Harmony FM , Reißmann sang advertising jingles and station IDs .

Reissmann was a member of the New Spirit Gospel Choir, a Wiesbaden gospel choir .

In the last few years (as of 2005), Reißmann was featured in advertising campaigns that were placed in various youth magazines, among other things.

From 2007 to 2008, Reißmann was on the road with the band Austin65 for some gigs in the Wiesbaden area.

Since September 2008, Reißmann has been working as a product manager at Starwatch Music .

He is married to Anne Ross , a former member of the Preluders .
