Anne Ross

Anne Ross (born March 17, 1985 in Dersum ) is a German singer .

In 2003, Ross took part in the 3rd season of the talent show Popstars . Ross did not reach the second round at her first casting in Cologne and then attended the casting in Hamburg , where she subsequently advanced to the final show.

Originally, the Preluders , who were defeated by their male competitors from Overground in the final of pop stars, were supposed to perform in groups of four. However, Ross was nominated by the producers. The first releases of the Preluders were very successful in the charts. The single Everyday Girl made it to number one in the German single charts; the album Girls in the House reached number two. The success was short-lived, however, no other Preluders single made it into the top 20. In 2005 Ross left the band and was replaced by Patricia "Trish" Sadowski. The Preluders disbanded in 2006.

After their separation from the Preluders, Ross tried to build on their past successes with the pop duo Milk & Honey . The first single Habibi (Je t'aime) reached number 16 in the German single charts, the second single Didi number 38. The first album Elbi was released on October 19, 2007.

In 2008 she began her studies at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences in the business administration and management program.

She is married to Meiko Reissmann , a former member of Overground .
