The Beidersee milestone is a listed milestone in the area of ​​the Beidersee district of the Petersberg community in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments , the milestone is recorded as a minor monument under registration number 094 98372 .

history

The milestone of Beidersee is a Prussian half-milestone, which was erected in 1800 by the Kingdom of Prussia on Magdeburger Chaussee , which led from Magdeburg via Halle to Leipzig . Today it is the former course of the federal highway 6 . From this milestone it was 9½ Prussian miles to Magdeburg . In its original form it is said to have resembled the whole milestone at Grube Ferdinande . Only the lower part of the milestone has been preserved, the whereabouts of the upper part are not known.
