The milestone in Siptenfelder Straße is a small monument in Güntersberge in the town of Harzgerode in the Harz district in Saxony-Anhalt .

In the Siptenfelder Straße in Güntersberge there are two Anhalt milestones right next to each other. The smaller stone is a Anhalt quarter milestone and is set back a little. The larger of the two stones is a full milestone and bears the inscription X Meilen von Dessau , some letters of which have already faded considerably. A plaque from the Milestones research group was placed on the side of the street, informing that the road measurement from Anhalt was aimed at the Leopold monument on Schlossplatz in Dessau .

Now in the hallway of Güntersberge there is also the milestone at the Forsthaus Uhlenstein , which is exactly 13 miles from Dessau. Since the Anhalt mile was the same length as the Prussian mile, namely 7.532 kilometers, this and the 13.25 indication of the quarter milestone are probably the correct ones and the X milestone must have had a higher number earlier, most likely a XIV . Since the Roman X is alone in the top line, there is enough space for it. It is said to have been erected in 1856, where exactly has not yet been proven. The only thing that is certain is that it was brought to Güntersberge.

In the monument register , the distance indicator bears the registration number 094 84983. At least one more stone was brought to Güntersberge, which is now a curbstone in the village and still bears the inscription XIII , the rest is underground. In addition, a signpost identified by a postcard can be assumed to have been built into a wall.
